1989 Malibu Skier – Two-Owner, Indoor Stored, Documented 540 Hours
Classic direct-drive ski boat in honest, well-kept condition. Two owners total, out of the water since 1994 — covered outdoor storage through 2014, indoor storage since. Freshwater only on Austin-area lakes. 540 documented hours on the original Mercruiser 5.7 Comp Ski 350 — points converted to electronic ignition, otherwise stock. Original graphics, original interior. On the water recently and runs great.
Mechanicals: Impeller replaced one year ago with genuine Quicksilver. Stringers and floor solid.
Condition: Interior all original, vinyl intact, no tears. Gelcoat has some oxidation on the lower third and swim platform is sun faded — both look perfect wet. Swim platform is solid, no cracks.
What's included: Trailer with Bearing Buddy, tires from 2021/2022, spare wheel. 2 covers, barefoot boom, vintage 90s slalom skis (x2), wakeboard, kneeboard, ropes, vests, multiple anchors, JBL stereo in place of one speedo.
These don't come up clean very often. No project — just a well-documented old-school ski boat with everything you need to be on the water day one.
