LOW HOURS!
Only ~225 hours on a MasterCraft-installed brand new engine. Under 400 total hours on the hull. Adult owned, mechanically maintained, and ready for the water.
You know what a ProStar 205 is or you wouldn't be reading this. Open bow, direct drive, the flat tournament wake, and the hull MasterCraft got right and never needed to fix. This one has been in our family for almost a decade and it's only for sale because the kids are grown and it sits.
The engine story, fully transparent:
The original owner passed away and the boat wasn't winterized, which cracked the original block. It went straight to MasterCraft where they installed a complete brand new Indmar 5.7L Chevy 350 EFI, a $10,000 job done right by the factory guys. The second owner put roughly 100 hours on the new motor and I've put about 125. So you're buying a hull with under 400 total hours and an engine with only around 225 on it. Find another 205 with numbers like that.
I'm very knowledgeable about working on engines and have personally done everything needed to keep this boat running perfect the entire time I've owned it. Synthetic oil, proper winterization every year, and nothing deferred. It starts every single time, idles smooth, pulls hard with no flat spots anywhere in the RPM range, and has never once left us stranded.
