Kind of rare, low-hour 1996 Hydrodyne Avalon open-bow ski boat. If you are looking for tournament-level slalom and barefoot boat but need the family-friendly seating of an open bow, this Avalon is ideal. Hydrodyne produced very few open-bow models before closing production, making this kind of sought-after collector’s ski boat. The engine is the 350ci 310hp MerCruiser Black Scorpion Multi-Port Fuel Injection (MPI) model and has around 485 hours on it. This motor is very powerful and will launch multiple skiers out of the water quickly. Perfect for slalom, trick skiing or barefooting. It is surprising how small the wake is behind this boat. Just replaced the steering system and is now two finger butter smooth. The upholstery is in very good shape except for the maroon across the engine cover which as seen in the pictures has cracks through it. the rear ski compartment in the picture shows cracks in the maroon color but that cover has been redone and is all one color in beige. The carpet is in relatively good shape with no tears but is wearing thin in areas and kind of matted down with age. Comes with the trailer which I just had the bearings repacked and new lights put on. Pictures were taken without the swim platform installed but it does have a very nice and excellent condition platform This is a very solid ski boat and ready to go at a great price!
