Great Affordable Wakeboard / Wake Surf Boat for Sale
This boat has been well-maintained and is a great option for someone looking for an affordable wakeboard / wake surf boat. It was stored on the trailer over the summer of 2024 and did not run at the beginning of this year. I've invested about $5,500 in engine work this year, and it's running great, ready for the water for the foreseeable future.
Recent Upgrades and Maintenance:
Engine: $5,500 worth of engine work done this year, ensuring it runs smoothly.
Wiring: The boat's wiring was completely redone three years ago for around $3,000, addressing many common issues of older boats.
Trailer: The trailer is in excellent condition, with $3,800 in recent work (new tires, brakes, master cylinder, and axle) to get it ready for sale. A new winch was also installed last year.
New starter and 2 new deep cycle marine batteries that will keep the music going for 6+ hours without the boat running.
Known Issues:
Sound System: The sound system is not currently working. I have a new EQ and connectors for the tower speakers (the old ones were worn), but they haven’t been installed yet. Once the connectors are replaced and properly grounded, the speakers should work. The boat is being sold "as is," so no guarantees on the sound system functionality.
Gauges: The speedometer and depth finder gauge are not working.
Bilge Pump: Currently not functioning (replacement bilge pumps are inexpensive – around $120 on Amazon).
Perfect Pass: The gauge is installed, but I removed the mechanical components after the servo motor went bad.
Seats: Two of the seats have tears, which are visible in the photos. The marina has estimated $300 to fix them.
Exterior: There are some scratches and gouges on the exterior from when I first acquired the boat, but they’re all above the waterline and don’t require any repairs. The boat has been in the water for years without any issues.
Summary:
This boat and trailer are mechanically sound. If you're handy, many of the smaller issues can be easily fixed with affordable parts. Overall, this boat has been a great ride, and with the recent work done, it should continue to perform well for the next owner. I’m only selling because I plan to upgrade to a newer 23-foot boat next year.
