New Trade In!
This 2019 Malibu 21 MLX Wake Setter has just come in on trade and is ready for its new owner! Powered by a 2019 PCM Monsoon 450 engine with approximately 546 hours, the boat has passed an Irish Boat Shop mechanical inspection and is road-ready with a matching 2019 Malibu trailer.
The Malibu 21 MLX was introduced for the 2017 model year as part of the Wakesetter lineup, designed to deliver top-tier surf and wakeboard performance at a more accessible price point. It was created to fill the gap between Malibu’s 20 VTX crossover model and larger boats like the 22 MXZ and 23 LSV. The 21 MLX measures 21 feet 11 inches in length with a beam of 102 inches and has remained a core model in Malibu’s lineup through the early 2020s.
Built on Malibu’s proven Wake Plus hull, the 21 MLX is optimized for wakeboarding and wakesurfing, generating large, clean, and customizable wakes. With up to 3,800 pounds of factory ballast and Malibu’s Surf Gate and Power Wedge systems, riders can shape and tune waves instantly. The boat’s mid-engine V-drive layout provides balanced handling, quick planing, and smooth tracking, whether fully loaded or cruising.
Under the engine hatch, the 21 MLX is powered by a Malibu Monsoon 450 engines from PCM, with 450 horsepower. Inside, the 21 MLX offers a traditional bow layout with plush vinyl, standard G3.5 towers, and intuitive digital helm controls. It seats up to 14 passengers and offers ample storage while maintaining a driver-focused cockpit. Malibu’s attention to detail and craftsmanship are evident in every generation of the MLX, making it one of the best-performing and most practical 21-foot wake boats ever built.
The 21 MLX continues to be a top choice for riders who want Malibu’s performance and technology in a boat that’s easy to tow, store, and enjoy.
