2022 Malibu 25 LSV Wakesetter

With the oldest child off to college, its time to part with our Malibu. This Malibu 25LSV was completely redesigned in 2022, with big changes including the walk-thru transom introduced that year, along with the pull-out rear lounge seating. I previously owned a 23LSV, but with the changes made for the 25LSV that year, I pulled the trigger and custom ordered the first one in Oregon. Tremendous upgrade when it comes to interior space, performance, significantly quieter engine, and the surf wave is not even a close comparison. We were watching old surf videos during our recent Lake Shasta houseboating trip from the prior 23LSV, and this 25LSV makes a mockery of the 23LSV surf wave.

This boat comes LOADED. The two options I decided to leave off were the LT4 supercharged engine (hard to find 92+ octane premium gas on the lake, plus the M6Di has been more than capable of quietly pulling a fully packed boat with gear, at elevation of around 1000 ft above sea level), and the powered captain seat (unnecessary because it's one more thing that can break, plus I like to stand on the captain's chair when deploying the bimini top, and the powered captain chair is wobbly when standing on it). The "Natalie seat" in the front bow adds an extra usable seat, and the "Mister Misty" is the envy of all when pulling up to a marina in the scorching heat. The color combo is courtesy of my wife, who wanted a "ghosted out" look. Plus, all the extra stitching, interior patterns, etc, was customized by my wife's artistic eye. We opted for the "cool touch" vinyl, which has been noticeably cooler in hot weather compared to our last boat. And finally, the extended bimini provides shade all the way to the rear of the boat, but with the optional tow hooks on the sides of tower, the surf rope doesn't interfere at all with the bimini fully deployed. 

Of course the other great options on the boat include 5-heaters plus a heated captains chair to keep you and your passengers comfortable during those late evening surf sessions. Gx power tower for easy storage, wakeview bench so your crew can cheer on their friends, nearly $13,000 sound system to set the vibe, over $10,000 option for stern turn so you can dock your boat like a pro, surfband so you can adjust your wave to your own preference, and a heads-turning triple axle trailer that tows like a dream. I also upgraded the tow winch to a Fulton F2 2-stage winch, making the task of pulling this boat up onto the trailer a breeze.

This boat was professionally ceramic coated the day I brought it home, and it gets professionally detailed twice a year (in addition to my meticulous cleaning after each use). All recommended service has always been done at Active Water Sports, and the boat has been stored in a temperature-controlled garage year round. You will not find a better, well-cared for Malibu 25LSV on the market. Let me know if have any questions. Serious buyers only please.
