There was a prior fiberglass repair at the tower (previous owner damaged lifting boat into the boathouse), which was professionally redone with added internal stainless backing plate reinforcement (photos available), making that area stronger than original, clean, solid, and not a concern. It has always been a fresh water North Carolina boat, I am the second owner, and overall the boat is a strong 9/10 condition. It’s clean, turn-key, and ready for the water.
