We are the second owners of this boat; purchased in December of 2016. It had only 55 hours on the engine when we purchased it as the original owner used it for sitting in coves on weekends and kept it stored in a boat locker (boat house) when not in use. It has an ILMOR 7.4L/522hp engine. It did not come with a trailer, so we purchased a new 2016 Mastercraft trailer.
It is a wonderful boat that is very spacious, provides a smooth and comfortable ride and is versatile for watersports (wake surfing, wake boarding, tubing and skiing) and is great for family cruises. We added ballast bags to the rear storage lockers for use when wake surfing (I attached a video of our wake surfing). Wake surfing, wakeboarding, and skiing profiles can be customized and saved to suit the preferences and requirements of individual riders. Can provide wake surfing videos on request.
It has a Bow Thruster, which is a unique option, that provides excellent control for docking and maneuvering the boat in tight spaces.
Always maintained and serviced twice a year by Mastercraft Dealers.
We love our X55 but have decided to purchase a new boat this year; this is the only reason we are selling.
