2027 MasterCraft NXT20

The 2027 MasterCraft NXT20 proves you don’t need a bigger boat to get a full day of surfing, wakeboarding and cruising. At 20 feet with a 96 inch beam and a dry weight of 3,965 lbs, it’s built for tighter garages, size restricted lakes and easy towing behind a half ton truck or full size SUV. It’s the most compact boat in MasterCraft’s wake lineup, but it still delivers the ride and build quality the brand is known for.

Behind the boat, the SurfStar system and NXT FasterFill ballast work together on the Vector Drive hull to create real surf waves and clean wakeboard wakes. With 1,770 lbs of factory ballast, SurfStar controls built right into the touchscreen and an underwater exhaust that keeps fumes and noise away from riders, the NXT20 makes it easy for families to switch from tubing to surfing without a complicated setup. Power comes from the standard Ilmor 5.3L GDI HO, with the Ilmor 6.2L GDI available for owners who want more punch with a full load.

New for 2027, the NXT20 gets a redesigned helm with custom backlit panels, a 7 inch touchscreen, a dedicated volume knob, keyless ignition and wireless phone charging, all standard. Redesigned 11 zone RGB lighting adds illuminated cupholders, floor lights and bow lighting you can control after dark. Every 2027 model also adds a built in inflator for tubes and paddleboards, so there’s no separate pump taking up storage.

Inside, the NXT20 seats 11 and offers 82 cubic feet of storage, including hinged under seat compartments and a reworked under observer seat storage area. MasterCraft SoundStage audio with four Meridian 7 inch speakers and a 10 inch subwoofer comes standard, along with the Z6 tower and clamping board racks. Popular upgrades include a heater, convertible rear seat, CoolFeel vinyl, flip down swim step, teak platform, saltwater package and, new for the NXT family this year, an optional stern thruster for easier docking.
