2027 MasterCraft NXT22

The 2027 MasterCraft NXT22 gives families more room and a bigger wave than the NXT20 while keeping the value that defines the NXT series. It’s big enough for a full crew but still easy to tow, launch and store. That makes it a popular pick for owners stepping up from a smaller wake boat and for first time surf boat buyers.

Behind the boat, SurfStar and NXT FasterFill ballast work with the Vector Drive hull to build a surf wave with real length and push, plus clean, predictable wakeboard wakes. SurfStar controls are built right into the touchscreen, so switching riders, surf sides or sports takes a few taps. An underwater exhaust keeps fumes and noise away from riders, and Ilmor GDI power comes standard, with a larger engine available for crews who run heavy.

New for 2027, the NXT22 gets a redesigned helm with custom backlit panels, a 7 inch touchscreen, a dedicated volume knob, keyless ignition and wireless phone charging, all standard. Illuminated cupholders join 11 controllable RGB lighting zones, including floor, helm and bow lights. The NXT22 is also one of the NXT models that gets a new hinged, shock supported cooler spot under the seat. Under the observer seat, storage has been reworked, and a built in inflator is now available for tubes and paddleboards.

SoundStage audio with Meridian speakers and a subwoofer comes standard, along with a Z6 tower and clamping board racks. Popular upgrades include a heater, convertible rear seat, CoolFeel vinyl, flip down swim step, teak platform, saltwater package and cockpit wireless charging. A stern thruster is new for the NXT family this year. Expanded 2027 color options include Torch Red and Cypress tower and accent colors, new flake gelcoats and a choice of white or black windshield frames.
