The MasterCraft NXT24 was introduced to provide families and riders with a large, powerful inboard that could handle heavy ballast, big waves, and large crews with ease. At 24 feet in length and with a beam of about 8 feet 4 inches, the NXT24 is built on a deep, efficient hull designed to generate consistent wakes and surf waves even in choppy conditions. Despite its size, the NXT24 remains easy to handle and tow thanks to its balanced weight distribution and trailer-friendly design.
The boat’s performance is driven by the same engineering found in MasterCraft’s top-tier models. It uses the SurfStar system, which allows precise wave customization through adjustable plates and pre-set rider profiles. SurfStar replaced the earlier Gen 2 Surf System and provides improved wave shape, length, and push. With more than 3,300 pounds of ballast capacity, the NXT24 produces powerful surf waves and clean, rampy wakes that suit all skill levels.
Power comes from Ilmor inboard engines, most commonly the 6.0L MPI rated at 373 horsepower, with the option to upgrade to the 6.2L GDI V8 producing 430 horsepower. Both engines deliver reliable performance, efficient fuel use, and strong torque for towing multiple riders. These engines are paired with a one-piece cast aluminum transmission, ensuring durability and smooth power delivery.
Inside, the NXT24 provides one of the most spacious layouts in its class. The wraparound cockpit seating, wide bow, and deep freeboard create a comfortable and secure environment for up to 16 passengers. The boat’s smart design includes under-seat storage, a transom walkthrough, and convertible rear seating that allows riders to face backward toward the action. At the helm, the NXT24 features an intuitive touchscreen interface with full control over surf settings, ballast, and speed.
