About the MasterCraft ProStar 195
The MasterCraft ProStar 195 offers ProStar ski performance in a slightly smaller package than the ProStar 205. Its hull comes from MasterCraft's tournament ski boats, giving it one of the smoothest, flattest wakes in its size range along with low spray and precise turns.
The direct drive layout puts the engine near the center of the boat, which gives the 195 excellent balance and consistent tracking through the slalom course. Its light weight and efficient hull make it quick out of the hole and easy to drive, and its predictable handling works well on tighter waterways. Most were powered by reliable small block V8 inboards, though equipment and upgrades vary from boat to boat. Since it's a direct drive, it isn't built for wakesurfing.
