About the MasterCraft ProStar 205
The MasterCraft ProStar 205 was built as a larger, roomier option alongside the ProStar 190. It pairs tournament level ski performance with more passenger space and a deeper, more comfortable interior, which made it one of the most popular ski boats of its era.
The direct drive layout puts the engine near the center of the boat for excellent balance and tracking through turns and ski courses. At slalom speeds it throws a soft, flat wake, and at slower speeds it produces a clean wake for recreational wakeboarding, so it earned a reputation as an all around boat for families who want to ski, ride and cruise.
