About the MasterCraft ProStar 214
The MasterCraft ProStar 214 built on the ProStar 197 with a larger cockpit and more passenger room, while keeping the precision and performance expected from the ProStar line. It was designed for owners who wanted tournament quality slalom performance but needed more space for recreational use.
The 214's hull delivers excellent tracking, soft wakes and predictable handling. At slalom speeds it produces small, flat wakes, and it throws clean tables that work well for trick skiing. At lower speeds the wake grows a little larger, which makes the boat usable for casual wakeboarding and general recreation. Most were powered by reliable V8 inboards, with engines and equipment varying by year and options. Since it's a direct drive, it isn't built for wakesurfing.
