Nautique SV-211 Boats for Sale
The Air Nautique SV-211 was Correct Craft’s first true crossover V-drive, engineered to deliver strong performance for wakeboarding, surfing, and recreational skiing in one versatile package. At 21 feet long with a deep, compact hull, it combined the convenience and comfort of a V-drive layout with Nautique’s precision handling and construction quality. The SV-211 offered adaptable wakes that could be tuned through ballast and speed adjustments, making it one of the most flexible and family-friendly boats in Nautique’s mid-2000s lineup.
The Air Nautique SV-211 was introduced in 2004 as a new concept for Correct Craft—a “crossover” boat that could genuinely perform across all three major watersports: skiing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing. Prior to the SV-211, Nautique’s lineup consisted of specialized models like the Ski Nautique 196 for slalom and the Super Air Nautique 210 for wakeboarding. The SV-211 aimed to bridge that gap by offering adjustable performance through an innovative ballast and wake-shaping system.
The SV-211 featured a 21-foot hull with a moderate V shape, designed to ride smoothly in a variety of water conditions while providing a responsive feel for the driver. It was available in two primary versions: the Air Nautique SV-211 Team Edition, which came standard with the Flight Control Tower, built-in ballast tanks, and PerfectPass speed control, and the SV-211 Limited Edition, which offered more luxury finishes but fewer wake-specific options.
One of the SV-211’s key innovations was the Hydro-Gate system, a mechanical plate at the transom that allowed the driver to adjust the running attitude of the boat. This feature could flatten the wake for skiing or deepen it for wakeboarding and surfing, giving the SV-211 a level of versatility that few inboards at the time could match. The Hydro-Gate system made it easy to switch between activities without manual adjustments or ballast changes.
Power came from PCM inboard engines, most commonly the Excalibur 330 5.7L or the optional ZR6 6.0L, both of which delivered strong torque and reliability. The SV-211’s hull produced a clean, rampy wake at boarding speeds and a soft, manageable wake for slalom when the Hydro-Gate was engaged. It also offered modest surf potential when equipped with ballast and proper weighting.
Interior design was another strong point. The 211’s V-drive layout allowed for wraparound lounge seating and ample storage, while maintaining a compact footprint for easy towing and garage storage. With a capacity of up to ten passengers, it offered a good mix of comfort and utility.
Production of the Air Nautique SV-211 continued through the 2008 model year, after which Nautique shifted toward specialized wake and surf models like the 210 and 230. Despite this, the SV-211 remains popular among used buyers who value its versatility and strong build quality. Many consider it one of the most capable all-around Nautiques ever made, offering the benefits of both a wake and ski boat in a single, well-balanced design.
