Supra Mariah Boats for Sale
The Supra Mariah is a classic inboard ski boat known for its blend of strong performance, elegant styling, and dependable build quality. Designed for skiers who wanted tournament-level wakes along with added comfort and space, the Mariah became one of Supra’s standout models during the late 1980s and early 1990s. With its smooth handling, reliable inboard power, and solid craftsmanship, the Supra Mariah remains a favorite among enthusiasts who appreciate the golden era of hand-built ski boats.
The Supra Mariah was introduced in the late 1980s by Skier’s Choice in Maryville, Tennessee, as part of Supra’s growing lineup of direct-drive inboard ski boats. Positioned above the smaller Comp and Conbrio models, the Mariah offered a longer, wider hull that provided more interior room and a smoother ride without sacrificing performance.
Measuring about 21 feet in length, the Mariah featured a deep hull design that gave it excellent tracking and stability. This made it suitable for both competitive slalom skiing and recreational family boating. Most models were powered by PCM or Indmar inboard V8 engines in the 240 to 260 horsepower range, providing strong acceleration and consistent pull.
The Mariah’s wake was known for being soft and clean at slalom speeds while offering enough firmness for light wakeboarding or kneeboarding. Supra constructed the boat with hand-laid fiberglass and high-quality materials, including durable gelcoat finishes and teak accents that gave it a distinctive classic appearance.
Inside, the Mariah featured an open bow layout that increased passenger capacity and comfort, which was relatively advanced for its time among tournament-style ski boats. It included wraparound seating, full instrumentation, and quality upholstery that reflected Supra’s commitment to detail.
In the early 1990s, Supra continued refining the Mariah with small updates to interior design and construction techniques before the model was phased out as newer designs like the Legacy and Sunsport gained popularity. Even today, the Supra Mariah holds a strong following for its reliable mechanics, graceful handling, and timeless styling. Many well-maintained examples are still in regular use on lakes across the country.
