Supra Santera Boats for Sale
The Supra Santera is a versatile V-drive inboard that brought together luxury, space, and multi-sport performance. Known for its smooth ride, clean wakes, and deep, comfortable interior, the Santera delivered strong wakeboarding and skiing capability in a stylish 21-foot package. With its reliable Indmar power and solid construction, the Supra Santera remains a well-respected model for boaters seeking a classic, high-quality inboard that performs equally well for family cruising and water sports.
The Supra Santera was introduced around the late 1990s by Skier’s Choice in Maryville, Tennessee, as part of Supra’s evolution from traditional direct-drive ski boats to more versatile V-drive models. Built on a 21-foot hull with an approximate 8-foot 4-inch beam, the Santera offered the interior space and comfort of a family cruiser while maintaining the performance expected of a Supra wake and ski boat.
The Santera’s V-drive layout placed the engine at the rear, creating a spacious wraparound interior and improving weight distribution for wake performance. Powered by Indmar inboard engines typically rated between 310 and 340 horsepower, the boat delivered reliable performance for wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and recreational skiing.
Supra designed the Santera’s hull to produce moderate, well-shaped wakes that could be adjusted with ballast or passenger placement. At ski speeds, the wake remained soft and clean, appealing to crossover boaters who enjoyed both disciplines. The boat’s deep freeboard and high-quality construction gave it a solid, stable ride even in rougher water conditions.
Inside, the Supra Santera featured upscale materials for its time, including plush vinyl seating, a well-finished helm, and ample storage compartments. Standard features often included a Rad-A-Cage tower, teak swim platform, and full instrumentation. The layout comfortably seated up to ten passengers, making it a strong option for families who wanted both performance and practicality.
The Santera remained in production through the early 2000s before being succeeded by the Supra Launch and Sunsport series, which built upon its proven hull design and interior innovations. Today, the Supra Santera continues to hold strong value on the used market for its blend of comfort, classic styling, and versatile wake characteristics that appeal to a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
