The lineage of the Tige 23 RZX began with the introduction of the RZX3 in 2016. At launch, it served as Tige’s new flagship, featuring bold styling, a deep freeboard, and the debut of the TAPS 3 surf system. The Convex V hull and adjustable trim plate allowed the RZX3 to create surf waves of varying height and length with minimal effort. Power options included Indmar Raptor 400, 440, and 575 engines, all providing strong torque for quick planing and steady pull.
For the 2017 through 2019 model years, the RZX3 received small refinements in interior materials, tower design, and technology integration. By 2018, Tige introduced the CLEAR touchscreen helm, a major step forward that centralized control of ballast, lighting, and surf settings. These years also brought improved Wet Sounds audio systems and optional RGB lighting, making the RZX3 one of the most advanced boats in its class.
In 2020, Tige rebranded the model as the ZX3, aligning it with the company’s newer ZX and RZX naming conventions. The ZX3 carried forward the same proven hull design but featured new interior patterns, updated upholstery materials, and refined helm ergonomics. Functionally, it offered the same surf performance as its predecessor while presenting a cleaner and more contemporary look.
By 2021, the model evolved into the 23 RZX, representing the next generation of Tige’s flagship. The 23 RZX retained the Convex V hull but adopted the upgraded TAPS 3T surf system for faster and smoother wave adjustment. It continued with the Indmar Raptor power lineup and featured the latest CLEAR touchscreen system for more precise control. The 2022 and 2023 model years added new color and trim options, enhanced software, and improved tower finishes.
The 2024 23 RZX remains the pinnacle of Tige’s surf lineup. It combines proven engineering with subtle updates to hardware, lighting, and interior materials.
