Tige 23V Boats for Sale
The Tige 23V is a full size V drive inboard boat designed for wakeboarding and surfing performance with the comfort and space families expect. Introduced in the early 2000s, it quickly became one of Tige’s best known models. The 23V combined Tige’s ConvexV hull and TAPS system to create customizable wakes for different riding styles, while the available Riders Edition package added features specifically for serious wakeboarders. With its deep interior, solid construction, and powerful inboard engines, the 23V continues to be respected for its balance of performance, quality, and versatility.
The Tige 23V entered production in the early 2000s as the company’s flagship V drive model. At 23 feet in length, it was built to provide the space and wake capability that advanced riders were demanding. Its deep hull and wide beam gave it excellent stability and plenty of interior room, making it ideal for larger crews and all day sessions on the lake.
The 23V used Tige’s ConvexV hull, a design that naturally created lift and allowed the boat to ride at the ideal angle for wake formation. Paired with the TAPS system, the driver could easily adjust the running attitude to fine tune wake size and shape. This made the 23V an extremely flexible boat that could move between skiing, wakeboarding, and surfing without heavy ballast or manual adjustments.
Tige also offered a Riders Edition version of the 23V that included factory installed upgrades for wake sports enthusiasts. These features typically included an extended flight tower, rider specific graphics, performance propellers, and additional ballast or stereo options depending on the year. The Riders Edition also incorporated design cues that distinguished it visually from the base model, giving it a more aggressive and sport focused appearance.
Inside, the 23V featured wraparound seating, deep storage, and a large sun pad area. The layout made use of the V drive configuration to maximize passenger space while keeping weight distributed efficiently for consistent wake performance. Materials and build quality reflected Tige’s emphasis on durability, with composite stringers, hand laid fiberglass, and precise fit and finish.
Most Tige 23V and 23V Riders Edition models were powered by PCM or Indmar inboard engines ranging from roughly 315 to 340 horsepower. These engines provided the torque needed to pull riders with full ballast and delivered smooth, reliable operation. The boat’s handling remained predictable and stable even in choppier water, making it a comfortable cruiser as well as a strong performer.
Production of the 23V continued through the mid 2000s before being replaced by newer models like the 24Ve and RZ4. Even after production ended, both the standard 23V and Riders Edition versions retained strong reputations for their build quality and wake performance. Today they are sought after in the used market for their spacious design, adjustability, and proven reliability, making them standout choices for riders and families alike.
