Tige 24v Boats for Sale
The Tige 24V is a large V drive inboard boat built for riders and families who want maximum space, comfort, and wake performance. Introduced in the early 2000s, it became one of Tige’s biggest models and quickly gained a following for its smooth handling, deep interior, and powerful surf and wakeboarding capabilities. With the ConvexV hull and TAPS system, the 24V offers adjustable wake control and a versatile ride that works well for wakeboarding, surfing, and cruising.
The Tige 24V debuted in the early 2000s as the company’s largest model at the time, designed to meet the needs of boaters who wanted a spacious interior and big water performance. At 24 feet in length with a deep hull and wide beam, the 24V provided exceptional stability and the ability to handle choppier water while carrying larger crews. Its size made it ideal for riders who wanted long, clean wakes with plenty of push, as well as families looking for comfort during long days on the lake.
Built on Tige’s ConvexV hull, the 24V naturally rode lower in the water at wake speeds to produce a large, smooth wake. The TAPS system allowed the driver to adjust the hull’s running attitude to shape the wake or wave to preference, offering more control without the need for heavy ballast. This versatility made the 24V a strong choice for a wide range of riders and conditions.
The interior of the Tige 24V featured a wraparound lounge, open bow, and abundant storage space. The deep freeboard design created a secure and comfortable feel for passengers, and the rear sun pad offered easy access to the swim platform. With seating for up to sixteen people, the 24V was one of the most family friendly boats in Tige’s lineup.
Under the engine cover, the 24V was typically equipped with Indmar or PCM inboard engines in the 315 to 340 horsepower range, depending on the year and configuration. These engines delivered smooth, consistent power and excellent torque for towing. The boat’s weight and hull design helped it settle naturally into the water, producing a well shaped wake with minimal effort.
Production of the 24V continued through the mid 2000s before being succeeded by newer models such as the 24Ve and later the RZ4. Despite the introduction of these updated designs, the original 24V remains popular among enthusiasts for its combination of space, build quality, and proven performance. It is still regarded as one of Tige’s most capable all around boats, offering both comfort and serious wake potential in a reliable, timeless design.
