Tige 24Ve Boats for Sale
The Tige 24Ve is a premium 24 foot V drive boat built for wakeboarding, surfing, and family comfort. Introduced in the mid 2000s, it replaced the earlier 24V and brought updated styling, improved hull performance, and modernized interior design. The 24Ve quickly became one of Tige’s most popular large models thanks to its ability to produce strong, clean wakes and surf waves while offering a smooth ride and plenty of space for passengers and gear.
The Tige 24Ve made its debut for the 2006 model year as part of the company’s refined Ve Series. It built upon the proven foundation of the 24V but featured a redesigned deck and updated hull contours for improved efficiency and wave performance. Measuring 24 feet in length, the 24Ve offered the size, stability, and interior capacity that larger crews and serious riders demanded.
At the heart of the 24Ve’s performance was the ConvexV hull, paired with Tige’s patented TAPS system. This combination gave drivers full control over wake shape and running attitude, allowing them to fine tune the boat for wakeboarding, surfing, or skiing without adding extra ballast. The system’s versatility made the 24Ve one of the most adaptable large inboards on the market during its production years.
The 24Ve featured a deep interior with wraparound lounge seating, an open bow, and a spacious transom area that made it ideal for socializing and long days on the water. The driver’s helm was ergonomically arranged with clear instrumentation and easy access to TAPS controls. Quality upholstery, durable flooring, and well designed storage areas reflected Tige’s attention to craftsmanship and functionality.
Powering the 24Ve were PCM or Indmar inboard engines, typically in the 330 to 340 horsepower range. These engines delivered the torque and reliability needed for loaded wake sessions while providing smooth cruising performance at lower speeds. The hull’s balance and deep V design helped the boat maintain a comfortable ride even in rougher conditions, which contributed to its popularity among owners who spent full days on the lake.
Throughout its production run, the 24Ve established itself as a versatile performer that could easily handle both recreational and competitive wake sports. It bridged the gap between the earlier 24V and newer designs like the RZ4, blending proven engineering with contemporary styling. Even years later, the 24Ve remains highly regarded for its durability, large interior, and balanced wake characteristics that appeal to a wide range of riders.
