Tige ASR Boats for Sale
The Tige ASR is a 23 foot V drive wake and surf boat designed to deliver professional level performance with modern styling and technology. Introduced in the mid 2010s, the ASR represented a new generation of Tige design focused on precision wave control, bold aesthetics, and premium build quality. With its ConvexV hull, TAPS 3 system, and aggressive running surface, the ASR produces massive, clean surf waves and powerful wakeboard wakes while maintaining the smooth handling and reliability that Tige boats are known for.
The Tige ASR was unveiled for the 2014 model year as the company’s new flagship performance boat. The name stood for Apex Series Riders, reflecting its focus on advanced wake and surf technology. At 23 feet long with a wide beam and deep interior, the ASR was designed for riders who wanted professional level performance and luxury features in one package.
Built on the ConvexV hull, the ASR incorporated a redesigned running surface that allowed it to sit deeper in the water at riding speeds while maintaining efficiency at cruising speeds. The TAPS 3 system gave drivers the ability to adjust wake and wave shape instantly, offering a high degree of customization without complicated setup. This made the ASR one of the most advanced boats in Tige’s lineup for wake shaping and surf versatility.
The ASR also introduced several new features that set it apart from earlier models. These included a high freeboard for added safety and comfort, a large swim platform, a power folding tower, and integrated ballast with more than 3,000 pounds of capacity. The hull design created long, powerful surf waves with excellent push, while wakeboarders benefited from a steep, consistent ramp and clean lip at all speeds.
Inside, the ASR reflected Tige’s emphasis on quality craftsmanship and passenger comfort. It offered wraparound lounge seating, deep storage compartments, a wide transom walkthrough, and premium upholstery. The helm featured Tige’s touch screen control system, giving the driver full access to ballast, TAPS settings, and speed control. The interior design combined functionality with luxury, creating a high-end feel throughout the boat.
The ASR was powered by Indmar Raptor series engines, providing the torque and responsiveness needed for heavy loads and surf conditions. The boat’s structural integrity was ensured by Tige’s fully composite construction and hand-laid fiberglass process, giving it long-term strength and durability.
Production of the ASR continued through the later 2010s, with incremental updates to interior materials, control systems, and tower design. The model eventually gave way to the ZX Series, which built on many of its innovations. Even so, the ASR remains one of Tige’s most respected models, known for its aggressive style, strong wave performance, and solid build. It continues to be a favorite among serious riders looking for a used Tige that delivers modern performance and timeless design.
