Tige RZ4 Boats for Sale
The Tige RZ4 is a 24 foot V drive wake and surf boat built for riders who want maximum space, comfort, and performance. Introduced in the late 2000s, it served as the flagship of the RZ Series and quickly became one of Tige’s best-known models. With its ConvexV hull, TAPS 2 and later TAPS 3 systems, and bold pickle fork design, the RZ4 delivers powerful surf waves, large clean wakeboard wakes, and smooth handling even in rougher water.
The Tige RZ4 was launched for the 2009 model year as the largest member of the RZ family, offering 24 feet of length and a deep, wide hull built for big water performance. It shared the same design language as the RZ2 but added more ballast capacity, interior space, and overall volume, giving it the ability to create some of the largest and most customizable wakes in Tige’s lineup.
The RZ4 was built on the ConvexV hull, a signature design that allowed the boat to settle naturally into the water to generate clean, powerful wakes while maintaining fuel efficiency and smooth ride quality. When paired with the TAPS 2 system, and later the upgraded TAPS 3 surf system, drivers could adjust the running attitude and fine tune wake shape instantly. This made the RZ4 one of the most adaptable wake and surf boats of its era, capable of switching between slalom skiing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing at the touch of a control.
Inside, the RZ4 offered one of the most spacious interiors in its class. The pickle fork bow created extra seating room at the front, while the wraparound cockpit and deep freeboard provided comfort and security for passengers. Seating capacity reached up to seventeen people, making it ideal for large groups. The transom was designed with easy access to the swim platform, and the wide layout made movement around the interior simple and safe.
Powering the RZ4 were inboard engines from Indmar or PCM, depending on the model year. Typical configurations included 343 and 409 horsepower engines that provided excellent torque and reliability. The RZ4’s large hull handled the additional weight with ease, producing long surf waves with strong push and smooth transitions that riders appreciated for both style and consistency.
Throughout its production years, the RZ4 received updates to technology, tower design, and interior materials. Later models featured Tige’s touch screen control systems that allowed full integration of ballast, surf, and speed settings. The RZ4 remained in production until the introduction of the RZX line in the mid 2010s, which carried forward its surf-focused innovations and hull characteristics.
Even years after production ended, the Tige RZ4 continues to hold a strong reputation among wake and surf enthusiasts. It represents the height of Tige’s RZ Series design philosophy, combining aggressive styling with true on-water versatility. Owners appreciate its large interior, customizable wakes, and durable construction, making it one of the most sought-after used wake boats in the 24 foot class.
