CONDITION 

This boat has 850 gentle hours. That’s more than the average 2020 in Utah, which why the price is where it is. Here’s why those hours shouldn’t concern you:

• Half of them are at idle. The computer shows roughly 400 hours at idle.

• The other half were spent pulling surfers at 11 mph. 90% Of the time these boats are pulling surfers at less than 3000 RPMs.  

• 1 boat hour is equivalent to 50 road miles. 1200 hours equates to a 60,000-mile car. Nobody blinks at that.

• These PCM engines are rated for 3,000-4,000+ hours with proper maintenance. We have seen it! This one has used about a quarter of its service life.

• It has never had an accident and 0 mechanical problem.  

• Every one of those hours was logged under fleet maintenance. Oil, impellers, fluids, inspections — done on schedule by our in-house mechanic, not “whenever I got around to it.” Records available.

• We’ve done this before. We recently sold a similar, older Malibu with 1,995 hours. Still running strong.
