The 2027 MasterCraft NXT23 is built for bigger crews who want serious surf performance at an NXT price. It adds seating, storage and fuel range over the NXT22, so it’s a strong fit for families who spend full days on the water and want room for everyone, their gear and their friends.
Behind the boat, SurfStar and NXT FasterFill ballast work with the Vector Drive hull to build a surf wave with plenty of size and push for riders of every level. The extra length also helps it produce clean wakeboard wakes and ride more comfortably in chop with a full load. SurfStar controls are built into the touchscreen, and the underwater exhaust keeps fumes and noise away from the rider. Ilmor GDI power comes standard, with a larger engine available for heavier crews.
New for 2027, the NXT23 gets a redesigned helm with custom backlit accent lighting, a 7 inch touchscreen, a dedicated volume knob, keyless ignition and wireless phone charging, all standard. Illuminated cupholders join 11 controllable RGB lighting zones throughout the boat. The NXT23 also gets the new hinged, shock supported cooler spot under the seat, reworked storage under the observer seat and an available built in inflator for tubes and paddleboards.
SoundStage audio with Meridian speakers and a subwoofer comes standard, along with a Z6 tower in expanded color options and clamping board racks. Popular upgrades include a heater, convertible rear seat, CoolFeel vinyl, flip down swim step, teak platform, saltwater package, cockpit wireless charging and rear storage nets. A stern thruster is new for the NXT family this year and makes docking a big boat much easier.
