The Tige R23 made its debut for the 2022 model year as the newest addition to Tige’s R Series, which was designed to offer high quality surf and wake performance with simplified technology and accessible pricing. Sitting between the smaller R21 and larger ZX models, the R23 was engineered to deliver the ideal balance of space, wave capability, and handling for families and dedicated riders alike.
Built on Tige’s ConvexV hull, the R23 uses the same hydrodynamic principles as the company’s flagship ZX Series boats. The hull design allows the boat to settle deeper in the water at riding speeds, creating large, powerful surf waves and clean wakeboard wakes. The integration of the TAPS 3T system gives the driver precise control over the shape and style of the wave with a single touch, adjusting automatically to match skill level and riding preference.
The R23 carries more than 3,000 pounds of ballast distributed throughout the hull, producing long and powerful surf waves that maintain clean shape and consistency. The GO System, controlled through the touchscreen helm, automates setup for surfing, wakeboarding, or skiing by managing speed, ballast, and TAPS adjustments simultaneously. This automation makes it simple for any driver to set up professional quality wakes with minimal effort.
Inside, the R23 offers a deep and open interior layout with seating for up to sixteen passengers. The design includes wraparound lounge seating, a walkthrough transom, and a large swim platform for easy access to the water. Tige’s attention to comfort and craftsmanship is evident in the quality upholstery, integrated phone chargers, reversible seat, and premium audio system from Wet Sounds.
The R23 is powered by Indmar Raptor series engines, including the Raptor 400 and Raptor 440 options.
