The foundation of everything the S240 does on the water is the Easy-V hull. It is a deep-V design that naturally parts water to one side rather than letting it disperse, so more of it ends up stacked behind the boat where you want it. The result is a longer, more powerful surf wave than a flat-bottom hull can produce at equivalent ballast, and a noticeably smoother ride when the water gets choppy. For families getting into surfing for the first time, the wave setup is approachable without sacrificing the size and shape that experienced riders demand.
The Quicksurf Pro System is what makes wave customization so effortless. Three plates at the transom work together: the patented Silent Stinger center plate diffuses exhaust down and away from riders without touching the wave shape, while the two side surf plates shift water from side to side in as little as 1.8 seconds. You can dial the plates from 0 to 100 percent in 20 increments, fine-tuning the wave on the fly without changing speed or pumping ballast. One-button surf activation on the touchscreen sets everything automatically, so you spend less time fiddling and more time riding. The Fast Mover ballast pump system fills and empties quickly, and when you want even more push, the plug-and-play rear bags expand total ballast to 5,600 lbs.
